1. About BirthPlanner.me
BirthPlanner.me is operated from British Columbia, Canada. We provide a visual birth plan and postpartum plan generator that allows users to create icon-based plans for personal use. Our service is intended for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute medical advice.
2. Use of the Service
BirthPlanner.me is free to start. A selection of icons is available at no cost, and PDF downloads are always free and unlimited. Full access to all 270 icons requires a paid access plan. You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase access.
You agree to use BirthPlanner.me only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the platform.
3. Accounts
An account is required to access paid features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
4. Paid Access Plans
We offer the following access plans, billed as a one-time payment:
· 1 month access — $21 CAD
· 4 month access — $47 CAD
· 12 month access — $97 CAD
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By purchasing a plan, you authorise BirthPlanner.me to charge your selected payment method for the amount displayed at checkout.
Access plans are not subscriptions and will not automatically renew. Upon expiry of your paid access period, your account will revert to free access. You will retain access to the free icon set and any plans previously generated during your paid period.
5. Refund Policy
All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds once a paid access plan has been activated. If you experience a technical issue preventing you from accessing the service, please contact us at hi@birthplanner.me and we will work to resolve it promptly.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on BirthPlanner.me — including icons, illustrations, text, and design — is the property of BirthPlanner.me and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this platform without our express written permission.
Birth plans generated using our platform are for your personal use only. You may print, download, and share your plan with your healthcare providers, but you may not use BirthPlanner.me content for commercial purposes.
7. Medical Disclaimer
BirthPlanner.me is a planning tool only. The information provided through our icons and platform is for general informational purposes and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your healthcare provider for advice regarding your specific circumstances.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BirthPlanner.me shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to reliance on any information provided through the service.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
